Levon Toros, known as apsyko, began his journey as a Gem Setter at the age of 15, returning from Switzerland to Istanbul to learn the craft from his uncles, Master Gem Setters, in the heart of the Grand Bazaar.

Born in Istanbul and raised in Ticino, Levon grew up between the precision of Switzerland and the creative spirit of the Lago Maggiore. His family heritage, deeply rooted in Jewelry and Design, naturally shaped his passion for precious stones and craftsmanship.

After three years of apprenticeship in Istanbul, Levon returned to Switzerland and continued his professional education in Geneva, where he obtained his Swiss Federal Master Diploma at the École des Arts et Métiers.

In 1992, he founded his own workshop, Levon’s Sertissage, beginning a career dedicated to the meeting point between traditional craftsmanship, contemporary Design and Aurea proportion.

Over the years, Levon has worked with internationally renowned companies “link to LinkedIn” and developed innovative approaches to Gem Setting, including Patented techniques recognized by the Swiss Intellectual Property Office. His work demands extreme precision, with operations requiring high level accuracy.

Today, his Gem Setting workshop is based in Lucerne, while the apsyko Academy in Ticino reflects his commitment to passing on knowledge and experience to a new generation of craftsmen.

For Levon, Jewelry is more than an object. It is a dialogue between stone, metal, light and the human proportion. His Armenian heritage, the colors of Istanbul and the Swiss tradition of precision converge in a distinctive vision in Jewelry.
